黑人女性主義

The quote about ploughing and planting hit me right in the chest—it’s so raw and real. I’ve read a lot of theory, but this collection grounds it in lived experience in a way that finally made it click for me. The editor’s intro alone is worth the price.

Finally, a book that tackles intersectionality with the depth it deserves—the historical research alone is worth the price. I found myself constantly flipping back to re-read passages on the overlooked labor of Black women. It’s the kind of read that shifts your perspective on feminism entirely.

The editor's introduction alone made me tear up—it frames the whole anthology so powerfully. I've been highlighting passages on nearly every page, especially the section reclaiming physical labor as strength. This is the kind of feminist theory that feels lived in, not just academic.
