Stella O. ★★★★★

I was impressed by how clearly it breaks down the structural discrimination trans people face—the analysis is sharp without being overly academic. The way it connects personal experiences to broader societal critiques made me see things differently.

George ★★★★★

The revised second edition does a great job laying out the specific discrimination mechanisms trans people face, and I found the author's critical perspective refreshingly clear without being overly academic. It’s dense but worth the read if you want something that names the problem directly.

Michael ★★★★★

The way this book unpacks institutional discrimination against trans people is both sharp and grounding. I appreciated the revised edition’s updated analysis, which feels more relevant than the first version I read.
