Verlagstext:

Stella ★★★★★

This collection of Yaghoobifarah's columns is so sharp it almost hurts — the way she dissects everything from bad internet to political hypocrisy is exactly what I needed. The essay on "Rape Culture" in particular made me see a few things differently.

George ★★★★★

I’ve been reading the "Habibitus" columns for a while, and having them collected in one place makes the sharp cultural critiques even more powerful. The way Yaghoobifarah ties together topics like racist double standards and underwhelming food really hits home.

John H. ★★★★☆

The collection of columns is sharp and uncomfortable in the best way, especially the pieces on food and internet access. I just wish the book explored some of the topics a bit deeper, but it's a solid read for anyone who wants clear-eyed cultural critique.
